緊鄰昭披耶河畔、泰國曼谷香格里拉酒店分有兩棟，一棟名為Shangri-La Wings(香格里拉翼)、另一棟則為Krungthep Wings(曼谷翼)。一棟比較接近全球香格里拉的style、另一棟則添加了泰國設計的元素在裡頭，兩棟之間有設迴廊通道，我可以自由穿梭其中、感受不同的飯店風情。(內含現場實拍HD影音)

Shangri-La Hotel,Bangkok被許多報章雜誌評薦為泰國旅遊中、最推薦的海景頂級酒店。正因曼谷香格里拉大酒店是所有湄南河畔五星酒店中，河岸景觀最長、景色也最為完整的酒店，可遙望白日湄南河上往來的遊船與晴朗天空；享受舒爽的微風。

入夜後的點點燈火、映照河面如水晶般的倒影，帶點神祕感的距離，曼谷的精緻細膩的文化與設計，在曼谷香格里拉展現無遺；當然，每人在陽台或落地窗景前可以獨享的美景，也是令人醉心於此的最大因素之一。

Shangri-La Hotel客房的寢具使用泰國的名產「泰絲」，柔滑細緻的觸感，讓房間的質感非凡。整體採榆木製家具，材質與顏色都很沉穩，我在這裡除了享受席夢思床品的極致舒適入睡體驗外，天鵝絨被褥和枕頭柔軟舒適，可讓人安然入睡、徹底放鬆。特別的是，每間客房還貼心地備有人造纖維枕頭和羊毛毯。

曼谷翼屋頂的水晶吊燈，華麗卻不浮誇，充分展現香格里拉高格調的奢華美感。2011年耗資6000萬美金重新裝修的曼谷香格里拉大酒店，嶄新的榆木鑲板、精美的雕刻裝飾及華麗的絲綢紡織用品，展現出香格里拉的大器風格。

特別是頂部四層樓的豪華閣樓層及酒廊，客房設計靈感來源於泰國劇院的傳統泰國演出，通過使用繪畫及舞蹈演員的配飾，將泰國傳統藝術的魅力融入房間的每一個角落。24層豪華閣酒廊的設計則來源於皇家駁船，薈萃精湛的泰國工藝。

大理石浴室設有單獨浴室和雨淋花灑、毛絨浴袍和香格里拉高級洗浴用品。浴室的獨立浴室和淋浴營造了乾濕分離、奢華的感覺。造型與動線流暢的浴室又是一個驚喜！

The recent US$ 60 million refurbishment programme of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok is complete with the unveiling of the new Horizon Club rooms, suites and lounge. Dramatic changes have taken place to the entire property that have transformed the legendary hotel into a new paradise along Bangkok’s River of Kings.

The hotel offers guests superior levels of service coupled with the familiar hospitality for which the hotel has become known. The entrance, lounge and lobby with abstract art pieces are reminiscent of a sanctuary of grace and peace in an Asian paradise. The Chocolate Boutique, a new chocolate-themed boutique for chocolate lovers, and The Long Bar, a spot for early cocktails or a late night rendezvous overlooking the river at the lobby level, have been added as new facilities for guests.

Each of the guestrooms and suites in the Shangri-La Wing has been completely renewed, with elm burl paneling, carved motifs and opulent silk fabrics, and rewired with digital cabling. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas of the wing.

Besides providing Simmons bedding for maximum sleep comfort, the new Deluxe rooms feature redesigned marble bathrooms featuring a separate bath and rain shower, plush bathrobes and premium Shangri-La toiletries. A good night’s rest is assured in the new 54 cm high pillow top beds with 100% cotton sheets, down continental quilts and pillows. As the tastes of all guests differ, we also provide synthetic pillows and a wool blanket in every room.

The new bathrooms offer the luxury of a separate bath and shower. The shower features two luxury shower heads, designed to suit every traveller’s needs, from the soft rain shower head to a height adjustable shower arm with five water settings from soft spray to massage. Guests have full control over their shower experience with the option to adjust not only the water temperature but also the water pressure, all from one easy control.

Wilson Associates also redesigned the Horizon Club floors and lounge on the top four floors. The guestrooms are inspired by traditional performances held in Thai theatres and this theme was brought into the rooms through accessories and paintings of dancers. The design of the Horizon Club Lounge on the 24th floor is derived from the exquisite Royal Barges that incorporate the craftsmanship and traditional of Thai art.

The free-form swimming pool is the centrepiece of the three restaurants clustered along the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Top landscape architect Bill Bensley redesigned the pool with gently sloping edges intended for sunning in the water.

Bensley Design Studios also redesigned Salathip restaurant. The signature teak pavilions are a celebration of Thai-style chic, reinterpreting Thai mystique in stylish and sophisticated décor.
